| Professional Experience: | Renee Michalow has been a licensed attorney in Minnesota since 1996. After receiving her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell of Law, she worked with the Honorable Mary Carlson in Washington County District Court, where she was involved with legal memoranda, judgments, orders, and orders for judgment involving issues in family law and other civil and criminal proceedings. Ms. Michalow next spent five years working with judges at the Minnesota State Court of Appeals, where she prepared legal memoranda for appeals involving substantive and procedural issues in family, civil, and criminal matters. Ms. Michalow has worked in a law firm environment, zealously advocating on behalf of clients. Ms. Michalow has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law since 2003. With her broad-ranging experience, she founded Michalow Law Office, PLLC, to focus on Family Law issues, and to support families using the common sense and compassion that she has acquired throughout her life and professional experience. |
