Willingness to Travel: I generally meet with clients at my office near downtown Minneapolis, but in some circumstances I can meet with clients at locations more convenient for them.
Professional Experience: Prior to enrolling in law school, I taught third grade in the Kansas City, Missouri public school system and worked as an Undergraduate Admission Counselor at The University of Iowa. During law school, I worked as a law clerk at the Milwaukee headquarters of Gonzalez, Saggio & Harlan, one of the most prestigious minority-owned law firms in the country. I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2008, where I served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice. I served as a litigator at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Minnesota. My experience at Fredrikson provided me with the resources and expertise I needed to open my own firm in 2009.
